Unique accommodation with meeting and sauna facilities in the middle of Kokkola’s historic old town.

At your disposal, you have a private 285 m2 space with its own ballroom, sauna and two bathrooms, six rooms for overnight stays, a kitchen, and a private entrance. The hall has a smart TV with computer connection and Wi-Fi for meetings. You can also order food from breakfast to banquets and sauna menus for your stay. Accommodation is available for up to 18 people.

A party and conference room six kilometres from the city centre, located in the peaceful countryside on a small reindeer and goat farm.

The venue can accommodate up to 60 people, but it is also ideal for smaller groups. In the summer, the venue can be expanded to accommodate 90 people. In the hall, there is a video projector and screen as well as a sound system and Wi-Fi connection.

Ask also about renting the 18th-century barn as a meeting space for about 10 people. The barn can be heated for winter use. There is also a traditional wood-heated sauna in the barn for four people with no running water.

A culturally and historically valuable milieu in the centre of Kokkola. The origins of the house date back to the 17th century and today it functions as a celebration and meeting place.
The house is suitable for traditional family celebrations, but it is also a popular meeting and training space. There are two separate rooms, both of which can accommodate about 30 people. Traditional catering services are also available.

There are three atmospheric venues in the old barn of Jukkolanmäki, located in the idyllic countryside 30 kilometres from the centre of Kokkola.

The premises can be rented for both large and small groups all year round, including weddings, parties and other events and meetings. Meals can be booked separately.

The summer café and a changing art exhibition showcasing the work of well-known artists are open during the summer months. In previous summers, e.g. Miina Äkkijyrkkä (2019), Kaj Stenvall (2021), Tove Jansson (2022) and Jukka Rintala (2023).

Just ten kilometres away, there is the fishing village of Ohtakari, which is well worth a visit.

Öja´s village centre at Café Bryggan offers premises and services for parties and events.

The restaurant is situated in scenic surroundings and it offers high-quality catering and event services all year round.

With our help, your event, large or small, will be a success. We have great functional facilities, an alcohol serving licence and various menus for parties and events. During the summer season, a cosy meeting space is also available for smaller groups in the boathouse directly by the sea.

By combining the ballroom of the village centre (130 people) and the dining area (80 people), your event can accommodate up to 180 people.

The idyllic and unique Tullipakkahuone offers a wonderful milieu for both business and private gatherings as well as for larger events.

The space consists of two large halls and is adaptable for events of different sizes. For smaller events of 50–70 people, the first hall is usually sufficient. When both halls are used, the space can accommodate up to 300 diners.

The association house, which is maintained by the Kokkola Workers’ Association, is located less than one kilometre from the centre of Kokkola. The first parts of the Workers´ House were built in the late 19th century and the newest parts in 1957. The premises have been kept up to date with respect for the old.

Here you can organise anything from dance rehearsals to meetings and from private gatherings to large public events. The acoustics are incomparable. The Workers’ House hosts many family celebrations. The café seats 60 people and when booking the whole house, you can arrange a party, a trade fair, a cultural event or a conference for up to 200 people. Tableware for a coffee service, tablecloths, table setting, and more are available on request. Catering services must be ordered from an external operator, but a coffee service can be arranged by the Workers´ House staff. There are also great meeting rooms for 6 or 15 people. Wi-Fi and a video projector are available.

Villa Elba, which is located by the beautiful seashore on the popular Sannanranta villa area about four kilometres from the Kokkola city centre, rents out well-equipped meeting rooms of various sizes. All meeting rooms have a fast fibre connection. In the large Elba-hall, there are chairs for up to 190 people, and the space is perfect for weddings for up to 160 persons with set tables, as well as for banquet seminars and meetings.

The Old Villa can accommodate about 30–40 people, and in the summer, there is room for 10–15 more on the terrace. The Old Villa is a popular place for small weddings, family and confirmation parties, baptisms and get-togethers for friends, as well as for meetings. There are beds for 12 people upstairs.

Pre-ordered coffee is served in the meeting rooms. The restaurant serves lunch on weekdays.

Villa Elba has been organising various types of events for over 30 years, including weddings, family and student parties, festive seminars of several days, sauna evenings, bachelor parties, TYHY days, themed birthdays for children and more.

Elba´s Helmi (Pearl) is the newest of the sauna buildings, with a meeting room for about 25 people at one end and an electric sauna and dressing room at the other.

Sauna evenings are a popular programme number throughout the year. The electric sauna is programmed by the staff, but our most popular attraction is the wood-heated sauna at the pier. You can heat the sauna yourself or ask the staff to heat it for you.

The beach cabin is also located by the sea and available for rent. In the yard, there is a fireplace, where you can fry sausages.

The newest building in the area is Kota, which is situated in the forest. It is an authentic Lappish kota hut, where you can pre-order catering services. In the middle of the hut, there is a fireplace that spreads warmth even in the winter. The hut accommodates 20–30 people.

Elba rents out mountain bikes, fat bikes, sup-boards, kicksleds, snowshoes and skis. Ask also for Tentsile accommodation.

Meeting room Torni (“Tower”)

The meeting room of the former pilot station is ideal for conference use. It can accommodate a maximum of 10 conference guests. The price is 145 €/ day (from 15:00 until noon the next day). VAT  24% is included in the price. Torni offers stunning views around the island.

Catering is available by order. Downstairs, you will find toilet facilities and a sauna. Alternatively, you can book a private sauna session after the meeting in a wood-heated seaside sauna at the harbour near the café for an additional fee.

Meeting room Pilot

In the homely Pilot, you can organise both parties and meetings for up to 20 people. There is also a sauna available. Pilot reservations include accommodation in double rooms. Ask for a quote.

M/S Jenny operates between the island and mainland according to the schedule. Charter cruises are also available.

Onboard M/S Jenny, there is a salon with 72 seats downstairs, a covered middle deck and a 35-seat sun deck for enjoying the sea air. There is a meeting room in the salon on the lower deck for about 30 people available when you rent the entire ship. A screen and microphone available. Alcohol serving licence.

You can also get married on the ship or even hold a memorial service.

The idyllic 19th-century Laivurintalo is located in the old town of Kokkola known as Neristan, right in the city centre. Laivurintalo and its courtyard are full of history and stories. We offer facilities, catering, and storytelling. This is a cosy place to organise meetings as well as family reunions. We are at your service all year round with a big heart.

Depending on the nature of the event, the space can accommodate 30–40 people. There is a screen, video projector and Wi-Fi access, and there is a piano in the hall.

The garden provides more space in the summer, weather permitting. In the garden, there is also a 19th-century barn. In the shade of the apple trees, you can enjoy coffee and pastries made by the maid Otilia and listen to stories from the past.

The almost 100 years old theatre house is located in the centre of Kokkola and offers a beautiful setting for various parties and meetings. Through the Lumo theatre restaurant, you can get delicious catering services for a small or large group.

There are three rooms to choose from for groups of 20–85 people. If the event does not include table seating, a group of up to 200 people can gather in the hall on the ground floor. Groups that come to see a theatre performance can use the meeting space for free before the performance. When the theatre schedule allows, the main stage with 197 seats and smaller stage with 60 seats are also available for rent for meetings and parties.

Port Tower is located in the close vicinity of the Kokkola Industrial Park and the Port of Kokkola. It is easily accessible from a further distance. There is plenty of parking space.

The meeting premises on the seventh floor offer stunning views of the sea and the Kokkola Industrial Park. The meeting premises consist of three equally big cabinets; Ritgrund, Tankar and Utö. These facilities can be combined into larger units according to the customer’s needs and can accommodate up to 40 – 60 people.

Visit Center, high-quality representation premises are located on the eighth floor of Port Tower. It offers a magnificent view of the sea and the Industrial Park. In Visit Center, important business meetings and training events can be organized as well as corporate and association’s evenings such as Christmas parties. The facilities are also ideal for presentations of various products and services or studios for virtual events. Visit Center consists of a large meeting space for 14 people, a so-called lounge area for 8 people, and a sauna area. The maximum number of people in the Visit Center is 30.

Tasty conference meals are easily arranged at Port Tower’s restaurant, Tower Bistro, where it is also possible to book a table for e.g. business lunches. Food can be enjoyed in the restaurant downstairs or it can be ordered to Visit Center. The restaurant has a permit to sell alcoholic beverages.
