Staying overnight on the lighthouse island of Tankar

The hostel is located at the pilot station and has eight double rooms. Shared showers, toilet, kitchen and living room. A sauna at the guests’ disposal. The tower room at the pilot station can also be rented for accommodation or as a meeting room. Tankar Inn is part of the Hostelling International network. Bedsheets and towels can be found in the rooms. We welcome dogs. Breakfast at Café Tankar for an additional fee.

The well-equipped modern kitchen and the large living room area can be converted into a cosy meeting venue. Please contact us if you would like to book the entire hostel for your own use.

The Lighthouse Master´s House has 3 rooms for 4 persons and a room for 5 persons. It is located about 00 meters from the Guest harbour of Tankar, near the lighthouse. The common kitchen of the house has a refrigerator, microwave, hotplate, coffee maker and kettle.

The use of the wooden sauna nearby is included in the price. The sauna can be heated by yourself. There is an outdoor toilet in the yard. It is possible to rent linen/towels. There is no running water in the building. Breakfast at an additional cost in Cafe Tankar. Pets are welcome. Remember also to book boat connections.

Cosy old fisherman´s hut at the harbour. The guest cabin has a kitchenette and a room with four 110 cm beds in bunk beds. Sheets and towels can be rented.

There is an outhouse in a building nearby. A private slot in our wood-burning sauna and breakfast at Café Tankar are available for an additional fee. We welcome pets!
