In addition to an authority dock and boat slips for summer residents, Tankar also has a popular guest harbour. The harbour is protected by a breakwater, and it features fifteen boat slips, seven of which are equipped with electricity. The draught in the harbour is three meters. The harbour coordinates are 63°56,9′, 22°51,1′, and the harbour is accessed from the South-East.
Book a boat berth via Tel. +358 40 582 9090. Harbour fees are payable at Café Tankar. Short visits (max 3 hours) with your own boat to the island’s piers are free of charge, subject to berth availability.
There are no fuel services or septic tank pump-out facilities on the island. The nearest fuel stations are in the guest harbours of Mustakari and Ykspihlaja.
There are accommodation and sauna services available on the island. There is also a boat connection between Tankar and Kokkola.
