Kokkola city centre is suitably compact, where it is easy to move on foot from one place to another. The services of the city centre are close to each other. The beach is only half an hour’s walk away (2.5 km) and it is easy to go to the picturesque Meripuisto (”Marine Park”) by following the Sunti (city strait).
