Café Tankar

During the summer season, Café Tankar serves a delicious salmon soup lunch accompanied by traditional archipelago bread. In addition to the soup lunch, a selection of café products is available. Soup lunches are primarily available to guests who book in advance, but it is worth asking about availability on-site as well. Breakfast is available by advance reservation.

The café is located in the harbour in a historic log building dating back to the 19th century. To help ensure smooth lunch service, guests are encouraged to reserve the soup lunch when purchasing their boat tickets.

Café Tankar also serves as a hub for boaters and overnight guests.

  • Breakfast is available every day throughout the summer by advance order (no later than the previous evening). Breakfast is served from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.

    You can purchase breakfast through the online store when booking accommodation.

  • Café Tankar’s salmon soup is available throughout the summer from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
